ABOUT THE DESIGNER
BACKGROUND
IDr. Courtney Gatus graduated from University of the Philippines Diliman in 2016. She began her career as a sales interior designer for a high-end kitchen brand. She worked in various design & build companies through the years, specializing in residential and commercial spaces. Currently, she works with private clients and partner contractors to help turn their dream spaces to reality.
AWARDS
Nippon Paint Young Designer Award (now ASIA YOUNG DESIGNER) Silver Awardee & Best Color Choice for her entry, Project Eversmile.
She placed tenth in the Interior Design Licensure Exam in 2016.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
Over the years, Courtney has worked on various design styles and concepts for a wide range of interiors. Throughout all her projects, she incorporates timelessness, elegance, simplicity, while merging function and beauty for all her projects.

Filling up a space can be a challenging endeavor. But we are here to guide and help curate the space into something you will truly love. The pre-design stage is made up of,
(1) Site visit to measure the space if it's existing, or
(2) Meetings and surveys to get to know you and the things you love
Here we develop a concept that will serve as our guide throughout the project.

On this stage, we start to put the elements that will make up our design, from the flooring, wall treatments, ceiling finishes, and everything in between -- furniture, accessories, lighting, window treatments, artworks, pillowcases, area rugs, plants and other decorations.
Here you will get 3D perspectives so you will know the exact look and feel of the project.

We start to break the design elements into electrical plans, floor pattern layouts, finish guides, and shop drawings for cabinets and custom furniture, specified down to the millimeter.
The bulk of the design elements you see on the photos are based on pages and pages of plans.
We select the furniture, finishes and equipment and present you the options that will work within our design & budget.

We coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other trades involved in the project to communicate the plans and details we put in the design.
It involves a lot of patience, legwork, and resilience, but it is all worth it once everything is done and put together!
